GENERAL QUESTIONS
Usually, around 92-98% of the class buys a Brass Rat. Approximately 70-75% of the class buys a gold ring.
Typically, you wear your ring on the ring finger on your right hand. However, you can wear it on any finger you choose.
Please visit brassrat2025.mit.edu for the on-campus sizing and ordering event following the ring premiere. A Herff Jones representative will professionally size your preferred finger.
If you buy a gold ring, you have the option to buy an ultrium ring for the discounted price of $75 (normally $150). Your ultrium ring is worn every day, while your gold ring is worn to all your special occasions and alumni events. *Note: Unfortunately the PVD finish rings will not be available until after ring delivery.
If you would like more information, you can email us at brassrat-2025@mit.edu, or contact our Herff Jones representative, Jeff Quirk, at jpquirk@herffjones.com.
